Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with customers, including Japanese clients.
• Provide quality guidance to suppliers and manage quality improvement activities.
• Conduct quality audits of manufacturing processes and suppliers, and provide recommendations for quality improvement.
• Respond to customer quality inquiries and conduct product quality evaluations, including hazardous substance and durability assessments.
• Visit customers with the sales team and provide technical support from a quality perspective.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve quality management systems and processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
• Experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Supplier Quality Management (SQE) or supplier quality improvement.
• Experience supporting Japanese manufacturers or Japanese-affiliated companies.
• Experience conducting quality audits or supplier audits.
• Business-level English communication skills.
• Japanese language skills (JLPT N2 or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other Quality Management Systems will be an added advantage.
